Ever wonder what it's like to work on the Miniature Railroad & Village®? Come behind the scenes while the Miniature Railroad is closed to everyone else! Discover what it takes to keep this historic treasure in tip-top shape. Learn how the scenery is created, how the animations work, and how the models are built... even do a special hands-on activity!
For train enthusiasts ages 10 and up. Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Go behind the scenes of USS Requin and into areas rarely seen by the visiting public! See how these amazing vessels and their crew faced challenges and life underwater. Explore unrestored compartments and climb up into the conning tower to see the periscope! For ages 15 and up; tour size is limited to 12 people. Full mobility is required.

Go in depth with an aquarist for a one-of-a-kind experience in our Seascape exhibit. Observe food prep for our sea creatures and witness the unique feeding behaviors of several species. Seahorse feeding and reproduction will be featured, as well as baby seahorses and jellyfish (depending on their cooperation!). A full tour of our unique coral reef system will introduce you to a variety of animals and how they survive in one of the most competitive ecosystems on Earth.
