Group Pricing
Beginning Sept. 1, 2011, Carnegie Science Center has lowered its prices for group visits.
Groups of 15 or more people over age 3, when they make advance reservations, get this package for just $8 per person (a $14 value based on 2010 pricing):
- All four floors of hands-on exhibits
- Highmark SportsWorks®
- USS Requin submarine (weather permitting)
- One theater show, EITHER in one of our live demonstration theaters OR in the Buhl Digital Planetarium
(Monday through Friday only)
SPECIAL SEASONAL RATES: In September and January, this group rate is just $5 per person.
Add-Ons
- Add an additional theater show OR planetarium show for just $2 per person.
- Add an Omnimax movie or laser show for just $4 per person.
Omnimax movie or laser show ONLY
If your group has time for only a short visit, you may book an Omnimax movie OR a laser show for $7 per person.
Standard Omnimax movie pricing does not include Special Engagement Films.
Chaperones
- For groups of school-age children, chaperones are admitted at no cost at a ratio of one chaperone to every 10 students.
- For groups of preschool children, one chaperone per five children is admitted at no cost.
- Chaperones do not get free admission to Omnimax movies
Membership cards are not valid for group admissions.
